Five days of conferences and meetings saw Italy as the world capital of LPG: LPG Week 2023 – held in rome from 13 to 17 November – brought together the world’s biggest LPG operators, held in collaboration with the 35th World LPG Forum and the European Liquid Gas Congress (European Liquid Gas Congress).
The event, which this year was organised in Italy by Federchimica-Assogasliquidi – the leading Italian industrial association, was held at the ‘Centro Congressi la Nuvola’ in Rome: 110 countries attended, with over 120 exhibitors and more than 2,000 participants for a trade exhibition and numerous conference sessions that engaged companies, national and international political representatives and expert speakers from all over the world.
Ten-year partnerships and new connections
Our participation in the event is rooted in our extensive experience in the field: for over 50 years, major players in the energy products sector have come to us for their customs and excise tax advice
Among the participants and exhibiting companies, we made new connections: at our stand, we engaged with representatives from numerous companies, with which we discussed the importance of referring to experienced international trade experts to ensure continuous regulatory compliance in the distribution of energy products, overcome legal obstacles and customs barriers easily and securely, and optimise logistical processes to minimise every risk.
The broad variety of the topics covered updated us on the current challenges facing the sector, all geared towards the development of responsible and sustainable pathways. In this regard, the transformation of current energy models to create a fair and equitable energy system was one of the topics of the debate: Just Energy was the title of the programme of events focused on the urgency of combining environmental, economic and social sustainability.
